FBI Building

FBI Building

The new $75 million, four- story, 163,040 square-foot, FBI Building in Salt Lake City was designed to attain LEED Gold certification. The fourth floor of the building is topped with a green roof.

Utelite Corporation worked with the landscape architect to design an engineered soil for fire access lane capable of supporting loading from emergency vehicles as well as providing a suitable root zone for turf establishment and development. Utelite also provided a lightweight green roof media that was placed on the fourth floor to support the green roof plantings.
