Additionally, unlike asphalt shingles, if the roof is damaged, individual tiles are easily replaced without replacing entire roof sections. Lightweight roof tiles with Utelite carries an Underwriters Laboratory Class A fire rating – the strongest available! Some insurance companies even offer reduced premiums to homeowners with lightweight tile roof systems – Farmers and USAA.
