The 11-story, 180,000 square foot Banner Bank Building is located in downtown Boise. Recently awarded the LEED-CS Platinum Status by the U.S. Green Building Council, the building’s sustainable design features include a water reuse system and a 50% reduction in energy usage. Only two other private, for-profit facilities have received this distinction.

The project required 2,300 cubic yards of Utelite Structural Coarse material in the structural lightweight concrete floors. For this project, the benefits of structural lightweight concrete included:

  • Reduced Dead Load
